Connect dots to complete boxes and claim territory. Simple to learn, surprisingly strategic.

Objective

Complete more boxes than your opponent by drawing lines between dots.

Setup

Draw a grid of dots (6×6 is standard). Each player needs a different color pen.

How to Play

Players take turns drawing one horizontal or vertical line between two adjacent dots.,When a player completes the fourth side of a box, they write their initial inside and take another turn.,Completing a box earns a bonus turn — you can chain multiple boxes!,The game ends when all possible lines are drawn.

Winning

The player who completed the most boxes wins.

Tips

Avoid drawing the third side of any box — it gives your opponent a free capture.,Sacrifice small chains to win longer ones.
